Sadly DS Content is closing down so I've started uploading my work to Pond5.com instead. You can see my animated birds at http://www.pond5.com/stock-footage/831662?pf_fullscreen=1, or even better you can download it for $25!
This animation started off by screen casting a video of a flying dove and vector tracing selected frames, tweening and adjusting the illustrations to create a loop of the bird flying. I then duplicated the loop and worked it into the animation you see.
I'll be making more of these as time goes on to increase my library and hopefully to increase sales...

Will they like it?
I've sent off the flying birds animation to DS Content and we'll see if it's suitable for buying. I also finished a quick animation job for Renault today so all good so far...

Screencasting for animation references
I've just downloaded ScreenFlow for Mac which is an excellent way to grab bits of embedded movies in YouTube etc as a reference to how things move. In this instance I'm studying a bird in flight in slow motion so I can trace each frame with a view to build a library of different animals moving.
